Conceived and produced by Gabriel Vigliensoni during winter, 2018. I wanted to try something new in terms of musical composition, so I decided to experiment with a non-linear approach. This involved setting up a system with certain rules and parameters, and then allowing it to run for a predetermined amount of time. By doing this, I hoped to create a piece of music that was unique and created through a process that was different from my typical compositional and improvisatorial approach.

ABSTRACT The Telematic awakening project was a way of participating in the 2019 Chilean uprising from abroad. I collected interviews and field recordings of the manifestations posted from social media feeds. The recordings were split into sound snippets, sound features are computed, and dimensionality reduction was performed so that the sounds were mapped into a bidimensional performative space.
